We have a VTech Safe & Sound Monitor which I was very happy with and we still use it in addition to the video monitor we just got so we can still talk to our toddler. Other than that, we had a regular sound monitor until now. My only thing is it doesn't have an intercom where you can't talk to your baby. It comes with one camera, but you can get up to 4. I recently got it for my toddler who we recently transitioned to a toddler bed to make sure she's staying in bed. I have closed circuit monitor and it seems to work fine for our needs.
